Nigerian music stars recorded a strong showing at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, with Davido, Tems and Phyno among the winners.
The awards were held on 12 September 2026 in Dallas, Texas. The official results page was updated on Tuesday, recognising artistes and entertainers from across Africa and the diaspora in 41 categories.
Davido won Album of the Year for 5ive, while Tems and Ruger took Best Female and Best Male West Africa respectively. Phyno won Best Male Rap Act and Mercy Chinwo was named Best Gospel.
