Chevron evacuates some workers from Gulf of Mexico platforms at risk of storm

Chevron (CVX.N) ‌said on Tuesday it was ​transporting non-essential ​personnel from its ⁠offshore platforms ​in the Gulf ​of Mexico as a possible tropical ​storm approached ​the US Gulf Coast, Reuters reported.

“Production ‌from ⁠Chevron-operated assets remains at normal levels,” it ​added ​in ⁠a statement. “At our onshore ​facilities, we ​are ⁠following our storm preparedness procedures.
