6 ships laden with petrol, other items waiting to berth in Lagos

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday said six ships that had arrived the Lagos ports were waiting to berth with fuel, automobile gasoline and bulk sugar.

NPA in its ”Daily Shipping Position” said that another 17 ships at the ports were discharging fuel, bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, bulk urea, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar and frozen fish.

Meanwhile, 23 other ships also laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected from March 15 to March 31.

The Authority added that the ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex (LPC).

NPA noted that the ships contained general cargo, bulk gypsum, base oil, bulk salt, automobile gasoline, petrol, frozen fish, sugar, containers and butane gas
