17 ships arrive Lagos ports with petrol, other goods

Seventeen ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says.

NPA made the disclosure in its daily publications on Wednesday in Lagos.

It said that 14 of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining three ships would berth with general cargo; frozen fish and diesel.

The NPA also stated that 36 ships carrying buckwheat, frozen fish,  container, general cargo, steel products, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel and petrol were expected at the ports between Dec. 12 and Dec. 29.
